Welcome.

My name is Anna March. I'm a therapeutic practitioner, health professional and yoga and meditation teacher who is passionate about Somatics. For those of you unfamiliar with this term Soma is the body, and Somatics is the felt experience of the living body.

I offer therapeutic somatic stress release coaching sessions in person (in Raglan) and online.

Somatic Stress Release is a series of body-centered practices that help us regulate and restore our nervous system and build our capacity to process stress in a way that is healthy, natural and adaptive – often through movement which most of us haven’t been taught how to do. This can apply to stress that is current, or old stress that we carry in our bodies from unprocessed events in the past. Somatic Stress Release helps us relearn how to respond to stress and, over time, we regain our ability to respond to stressful events and situations with more ease and choice.

These confidential, empathetic and supportive sessions increase people’s resilience to meet and flourish in life. They are for people who have stress or traumas that they wish to work through and release.

Sessions are tailored to the individual and build their capacity through a strength based approach.
